UK Fungus Day ‘Morels and Music’ @ Ford Park Apple Day – w/live stream

UK Fungus Day events take place across the UK on or around 5 October 2024. In celebration have two short community sessions as part of Ford Park Apple Day Oct 5th (11am-3pm). Led by directors Rema Grace and Dave Crossley.

Enjoy a mycelial inspired soundtrack and work together to spread the spores of Morel mushrooms in one of Ford Park’s apple orchards. Find the site behind the playpark on the main field (Not the other orchard across from the garden area).

Slot one: 11am-11.45am

Slot two: 2pm-2.45pm

Welcome to join both/either slots – same activity but we’re trialling two slightly different methods and playing different tracks.

This free drop-in activity is part of our ‘Flourishing Furness’ series funded by the Westmorland and Furness Council Nature and Climate partnership grant.
